AAVE and Kovan faucet Issues

Hi All,

I am wondering if anyone have trouble with https://testnet.aave.com/faucet ?

It seems to redirect me to https://testnet.aave.com/markets and I cannot get to faucet.

Also, https://faucet.kovan.network/ is down.

I tried https://gitter.im/kovan-testnet/faucet, doesn’t work for me.

Hope someone can enlighten me how to get test dai and test eth.

Thanks Bro. I think AAVE upgrade their website a bit. Now, I have to click deposit to get to another page where it has a button to get faucet DAI

I think I need to get some test ETH on Kovan somewhere. Kovan network is still down. haha.

The Aave faucet seems fine just a little hidden, but it appears the Kovan faucet has been down for over a week, so we can’t get started.

https://faucet.kovan.network/ has had a server error for more than a week
The gitter faucet isn’t working either.

Are there people in this community with spare Kovan ETH they can give us please?

Here’s a trick I learned about getting Kovan ETH:
Go to app.mycrypto.com/faucet and request some KETH. You will receive 0.1 KETH, which is enough for some tasks, but not enough for what you’ll need. Next, go to the Aave faucet and request just about any asset you want (I used DAI). Then, go to the Uniswap Kovan clone at https://kovan-uniswap.netlify.app/ and trade your DAI for KETH. You’ll get a LOT more that way

Kind of an odd workaround, but until the actual faucets are fixed this is probably your best option.
