Ask a question about if we need to learn c++

I have started the JS course and in the course Ivan mentioned that we need to focus on C++ if we need to take the EOS course.
But I am personally not interested in EOS and only want to learn more about the smart contract Dapps things.
Can I just learn JS and solidity to biuld some Dapps? Am I right about this? Please help.

Hey @thurendous, hope you are great.

YES my friend, you can just go directly into all ethereum courses (remember to do first JS to go into solidity programming courses properly). The study guide is just a suggested path over the Academy, but you can do your own as long as you follow the fundamentals (like learning first javascript to face ethereum programming 101 properly).
