I am not seeing serviceWorker.js under src in my coin-exchange folder.

Why is this?

This is how create-react-app generated the files for you. You need to run the code in the browser by typing either

npm start

or

yarn start

Thank you, Zsolt. As I mentioned just now in my question about not being able to write in the terminal I am not able to write “npm start” in it. Am I missing something really simple here?

Yes, shut down the development server with Ctrl+C, see the other message.
