What course to choose for a newb?

Hi guys, I’m a total newb about programming. I’ll appreciate if somebody can tell me what course to start for a newb like me. There is so many courses. I’m not sure which one is good to choose to start from scratch.

I recommend Blockchain and Bitcoin 101 or Ethereum 101 so that you first understand how the Blockchain works before you can program.

I agree, the 101 courses will get you off ground 0. But I’d recommend not procrastinating on starting to code as well.

I have a tendency of procrastinating and have done pretty much all the non-programming courses. I should have started the programming a long time ago (more than a year now), but still haven’t.

So Bitcoin 101, Ethereum 101 then dive into coding.

And you already have thought or interest in which of the blockchain would you like to start?

thank you

Thank you, I appreciate the advice
@Thaddeus19 Since I’m having a limited knowledge in blockchain in general I still need to learn more. But for now, I guess I will concentrate on Bitcoin and ethereum. I’m very curious as well to see how the blockchains of those privacy coins work such as monero, zcash…
I still have a long way to go to learn everyhting.

Great! In the academy of https://ivan-liljeqvist.mykajabi.com/new-blockchain-dev# you have an excellent programming course in Etherium. And here is a news from Zcash https://cointelegraph.com/news/zcash-bug-could-reveal-shielded-full-nodes-ip-addresses

Definitely start with Bitcoin and Ethereum prior to delving into privacy coins and how they work. You’ll understand better once you know the basics of decentralized currencies, their benefits and shortfalls, etc. You’ll then be able to grasp the differences between alt coins such as Monero and Zcash from Bitcoin.
