How and why was this total decided… Have i forgitten or did i not cover it
Hi there! I am new to crypto and to the academy so I googled “why did satoshi choose 21 million?”
It is fascinating! Apparently he stated in emails “why” and the math is shown about “how”
he did it. It seems some people believe he created BTC first and the math determined the amount. I think he decided the amount first then set up the math to work out that way.
